Engg College Projects:
Title: Air Bag Deployment System using CAN Protocol
Engineering Final Project
Platform used: CAN Protocol, PIC 18F458 microcontroller, MP lab.
Description: The main function of the project is to monitor the typical sensors and
display the updated value on the display unit. Apart from this monitoring system the project also
performs an objective function, the air bag release based on the glass breakage sensors value.
Automotive Electronics has been witnessing a major change from the analog world to the digital
world to accommodate the rapidly growing technology so that the driving experience is made
better, safer and at the same time, the end-user is provided with a variety of features that he can
utilize in the vehicle & By using CAN Bus the wiring harness is reduced.
Title: RFID Based class Room attendance system.
Engg. Mini Project:
Platform used: Keil, Flip, 8051 microcontroller.
Description: It is designed to collect and manage student’s attendance records from
RFID devices installed in a class rooms. Based on the verification of student identification at the
entrances system, the RFID tag can be embedded in the ID card of the individual. First to activate
a new session (hour) the teacher swipes her/his RFID tag this marks a new attendance session
during which the students can swipe once to increment their attendance.
Title: Stock Teller & Safety Precautions for Petrol Bunk.
Diploma Project
Platform used: 8051 Assembly.
Description: The main Objective of the project is to have the exact level of the fuel in
the fuel tank of the petrol bunk system and to have the safety around the fuel tank system (Petrol
Bunk). The existing method requires manpower to give complaint if something goes wrong in the
petrol bunk. This is over come by this project. This can be used in,
• Industries where production is based on petrochemicals.
• Nuclear power plant.
