This document describes an Excel VBA macro that expedites the processing of light logging data. The macro allows users to click a button, select a data file, and answer a few questions. It then automatically distinguishes between Hobo and Dent logger data files, extracting useful information without four hours of manual engineering time per site logged. Currently, the macro generates a site's annual operating hours, control factor, coincidence factor, and other data. Future additions will include a summary tab that automatically populates information from multiple loggers at a single site. The macro provides an easy-to-use tool that saves significant time in processing light logging performance data.

 Currently the macro can automatically distinguish between Hobo and Dent logger
data seen in the previous slides.
 Here is what the current final product looks like; with usable information.

Summary
 Easy to use.
– User presses start, selects data file and answers a few basic questions.
 Saves at least four hours of engineering time per site logged.
 Currently automatically distinguishes between Hobo and Dent data files.
– Dent logs ON/OFF events
– Hobo logs Amperes
 Can be scaled to add additional types of loggers.
 Currently the macro generates the following useful data:
– Site’s annual operating hours
– SVG (Control factor for occupancy and other sensor types)
– Coincidence factor (% on during peak demand as per PA PUC 2pm – 6pm, M-F)
– Other (see slide six)
 Future addition
– Summary tab for multiple loggers from same site will be auto populated.
