WordPress allowed the author to effectively present their evaluation by uploading and embedding videos. It made the evaluation more visual. WordPress also allowed showing products and analysis. However, the school computers sometimes froze while uploading work. Prezi was also used and allowed creating a visual path and layout for writing evaluations. It makes evaluations more interesting to read. Prezi is easy to embed onto blogs. However, the author wasted time due to forgetting how temperamental Prezi can be. PowerPoint was used the most as it is simple and basic. Images could be added with surrounding text for clarity. Slideshare also allows uploading PowerPoins presentations easily to blogs. The author found no problems with Slideshare.

Evaluation.

2. Through the evaluation of my media products WordPress proved to be very helpful in
presenting my evaluation. It allowed me to upload and embed my videos, this made my
evaluation overall more visual and effective, by using WordPress my evaluation wasn’t
boring as I used other formats to present it. WordPress allowed me to show my
products, poster and magazine, and it allowed me to show them with analysis and
different elements.
I found WordPress was an easy way to organise my evaluation because I could change
the order and put them in the places that I wanted them to e presented, WordPress also
allowed me to make a category for my evaluation so its easy to get to.
However sometimes whilst uploading my work and evaluation the school computers
kept freezing so my evaluation took longer to upload than I first wanted.

3. Last year I used Prezi during my evaluation and thought it was a great visual way to present
an evaluation so therefore I decided to use it again this year.
Prezi is an easy online site where you can create your own path and layout, you can also
write as much as you. Prezi allows something to be more interesting to read.
As well as Prezi being easy to use, it is very easy to then embed onto my blog.
Because I used Prezi last year I already had a good understand of how it worked, however I
have forgotten that it can be a bit temperamental I therefore wasted a lot a valuable time
on it.

4. POWERPOINT
During my evaluation I probably used ‘PowerPoint’ the most this is because its simple and
really basic to use. Because of its simplicity it is quick to use and look professional and tidy.
I used it for many of my question, this is mainly because you need to use PowerPoint to be
able to use slide share.
PowerPoint allows me to put in images and then surround those images with text so it is clear
to understand, I think this is very important as sometimes and evaluation can be a little
confusing.

5. Slideshare- Again slideshare was something I had used last year in media.
Slideshare I think is one of the easiest online programmes to use. How it works is you create
a simple professional looking PowerPoint and then you upload it on slideshare, which gives
it a clear visual effect that you can upload onto a blog.
I never found any major problems with SlideShare it always worked perfectly fine.
Uploading it on to my blog was never a problem either as it only took a few seconds for
mw to get the embed cod and place in.

6. During my evaluation this year I did not use ‘Sound Cloud’ this is because I simply ran out
of time and found the other programmes easier to use and less time consuming. Although
I wish I had used them to show I had used more complex media technologies. Another
positive to not using ‘Sound Cloud’ is you cant really visual what I would have been talking
about as you can only hear my voice.
