My media product is a survival horror film set 3 years after a virus outbreak. The main character is similar to the characters in I Am Legend and 28 Days Later in that they are the only humans surrounded by infected individuals, wear similar clothing, and are focused on survival. All of the characters in these films, including my film, fear death and will do anything to survive, even if it means escaping or killing infected beings. They also all rely on weapons and scavenged supplies to defend themselves in the uncertain environment. Some camera shots and story elements are also comparable across the films.

- 2. How does my media product represent certain social groups? My media product is a survival horror film which is set 3 years in the future after a virus outbreak, there's a way in which the character from my film is linked to a few other character from other films are represented, there is quite a big comparison in both my character and the character from the film I am legend, they both are the only humans around in the first few minutes of the film, they both also wear jackets and trainers and both of their goals are the same to survive. Another character which Is quite similar in the films survival plot are the character from the film of 28 days later, all characters in the film fear death and will be willing to do anything to survive even if that means escaping or killing the infected.

More comparisons to other films Another example of comparison with other films was the comparison of protections in all the films mentioned, for example all characters in the films and my video all have a weapon to defend themselves, this shows how in a uncertain world you cant really trust anything around them. As mentioned above all characters are quite similar I terms of clothing's as well as surviving as they all rely on what they can find and what they can put to use. A good example of this is what the characters of Dawn of the dead do to the mini- bus, furthermore some of the camera shots used in some of he sequences are quite similar to those of the other movies. Finally the final comparison is story, even though all stories are different and some of the film stories have different reasons, they are all practically the same, that includes my film as well.
