This document describes a project to automatically circulate coolant in a lathe cutting tool based on temperature readings from a sensor. When the temperature increases past a threshold, a pump will start supplying coolant to the lathe from a tank. The circulation system is monitored by a control system, and the pump will shut off when the temperature decreases. The goal is to maintain a constant temperature in the tool, avoid coolant wastage, and allow automatic pump operation. Potential disadvantages include difficulty maintaining a closed-loop system.
