Your Assignment
• You are a famous playwright and are requested by producers to search for
the best stage space for your latest production. In a well developed essay,
please explain in writing to your producers, the four major types of stage
spaces (proscenium, thrust. arena, and found space) and the advantages
and disadvantages of each space for your play. Lastly, share with the
producers the best space for your play and why.
• In writing your essay, use your imagination, as you explain your latest play
and in relation to the theatre space.

• 12 Font/doubled spaced/Times/New Roman
• Write a clear, concise, and well developed essay
• 2 Pages or more/The more you write in detail the better the learning outcome and
grade.
• If you do not write 2 Pages or more--minus 20 points will be deducted from essay
grade
• If you do not explain all four theatre spaces (proscenium, thrust. arena, and found
space) advantages and disadvantages of each one—minus 20 points will be deducted
from your essay grade
• Make sure that you explain which theatre space will work for your latest play—minus
20 points will be deducted from your essay grade.
