Scolopendra cingulata is a centipede species found in Mediterranean zones. It can grow up to 17cm long, has 21 pairs of legs, and comes in shades of brownish-green to yellowish-brown colors. It preys on spiders, woodlice and snails, and reproduces by laying eggs.
