Aujourd'hui, pour partager un email, on se le transfère. Ainsi, un email va générer parfois des transferts intempestifs, rendant le partage de l'information compliqué, une augmentation d'erreurs suite aux nombreuses copies échangées. Et bien souvent, les personnes se trouvant en copie de l'email, reçoivent une quantité d'emails juste parce qu'il faisait partie de la chaîne.
Prenons un cas: si on envoie un email à 3 adresses différentes d'une même entreprise, on risque de n'avoir aucune réponse. Parce que chaque destinataire va se dire que c'est l'autre qui va répondre. Si les trois personnes se disent la même chose, on n'a pas de réponse à notre e-mail.
De nouveau, la messagerie client aujourd'hui, n'est pas adaptée au monde de l'entreprise.
Aucun partage d'information, aucune prise en compte des situations quotidiennes vécues dans les sociétés.
Venons-en, au cas où un employé transfère un email à un collègue. Sur quelle base, le transfert-il ? Est-il sûr que l'employé soit disponible ? Est-il sur que l'employé pourra répondre au mail?
La duplication d'un même e-mail faisant suite aux transferts de celui-ci, a pour conséquences des erreurs, des pertes d'informations et ne permet pas un suivi de traitement de cet email de manière claire et limpide.
Le travail en équipe devient difficile, la perte de temps et l'augmentation du stress sont amplifiés par cette pratique.
Avec le temps, le transfert a prouvé que cette pratique n'était ni efficace, ni productive. Malheureusement, beaucoup trop de sociétés, d'organismes publiques l'utilisent quotidiennement, faute de mieux.
