The Human Rights and Civil Rights of Equally Yoked Couples. Key Words: Unequally yoked, Unequallyoked, Unequally-yoked, Violation of Social Mores, Engagement, biostatistics, Equally yoked, Equally-yoked, Equallyoked Couples, Equallyoked, Equallyokedtarian, Equallyokedtarians, Equallyokedtarianism, Coupling up, Pairing-Off, Coupleships, Mate Selection, Dyadic Relationships, Premartial Pairing, Civil Identity, Intimacy and Mating, Pre-engagement, Courting, Courtship, Spouses, Dyads, Dyadic Psychology, Social Mores, Biopsychosociocultural Medicine, Clinical Sociology, Social Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Psychosocial Health, Marriage and Family Therapy.
This document discusses the concept of "equallyoked couples" which refers to couples that share the same "civil identity" across characteristics like ethnicity, religion, political views, etc. It provides definitions of equallyoked from social, religious and secular perspectives. It also summarizes several studies that found equallyoked couples tended to be less likely to use alcohol/drugs, had higher compatibility and rates of simultaneous orgasm compared to unequallyoked couples. Finally, it briefly mentions some human rights cases involving equallyoked individuals.
This document discusses discrimination against equallyokedtarians, or couples who share similar civil identities. It defines equallyokedtarianism and outlines several components of civil identity that discriminators target, such as ancestry, national origin, disability, race, color, age, sex, religion, familial status, marital status, source of income, sexual orientation, and arbitrary characteristics. The document claims discriminators use tactics like mind control, guilt trips, sexual seduction, and exploiting crises to take advantage of equallyokedtarian victims for financial or sexual gain. It asserts that all equallyokedtarians have inherent human rights.
This document presents perspectives on the Christian concept of "equally yoked" from various world religions. Views include:
- Paganism sees it as exclusively coupled pairs within a worldwide society.
- Rastafarianism sees it as born of God for preserving right living and stability.
- Early American folk beliefs saw it as symbolic of God's first love in Eden.
- Buddhism sees equally yoked couples as able to communicate well due to their connection.
- Many religions see equally yoked couples as exemplifying high moral values, love, and/or as testimony of God's love and a gift to Christianity.

It describes such couples as extraordinary, rare, and even a gift from God. The document suggests equally yoked couples have a shared religious or spiritual identity in addition to their civil identity. It provides background and context on the study of equally yoked couples from a religious perspective.

Editor's Notes
Equallyoked (also spelled, Equally yoked) is a term used to identify a couple in a multicultural society who share the very same (or at least nearly equal) civil identities and who may be either going steady, engaged, married, or married with children.
Homogenous couples are not equallyoked couples however, an equallyoked couple may be homogenous as well.
For ethical purposes in the social sciences
Living a lie about sexuality -> lying about ‘civil identity’ too. ‘equally yoked’ - It’s the right thing to do – its righteous – there is righteousness in it.
