Ambitions go higher and higher, Dream Achieved
- J.Jagadeesh Patilhe advent of
Enigma Premier
League in July showed us
the motive of being part
of Enigma but we were
not part of Epl1. The
opportunity arose in the
R- R EPL as players and
now as the owner of a
team that was vacated by
the predecessors, that is
how our dream was
achieved and the
Kurukshetra Warriors
came into existence.
n the beginning we
were enthralled to
hear that we had
competition to buy the
team, the team owners
decided at any cost they
should buy the team. We
stood united to bring us
the success and achieve
the dream in a
scintillating and to bring a
joyous end to the team
auction.
T he sponsorship had been
great and the Kurukshetra
means battle field, hence we came
up with the name of Kurukshetra.
Enigma had been greatful to us to
be providing this opportunity.
Excitement as they say can’t be any
thing more than the R – R EPL. “We
are born to win and we will prove
that what it takes to be winner.”
Unity is more important than
anything in this world. “Team Work
and collective stratergies from all
squares from the captian, players,
owners will be implemented as
team.”

To be or not to be
he shift from Kurukshetra
Warriors to Kochin Kings wasn’t
an easy one. So many complications,
so many problems. Although the
transfer took place in the last
minute. It was satisfactory. The fact I
would like to underline to all players
is irrespective if with your friends or
not, do not fail to complete your
responsibilty. R –R EPL is not for
group of friends, playing cricket. But
cricket bringing and bonding fresh
new friendship.

Uhmmm… Come on
Kochin Owner Rohit wished all
Malayallis could come together and
the cochin team was formed .
Eagerly waiting for the R-R EPL
opening Ceremony.
he experience of Epl1 was
simply amazing and being part
of the winning team was a great
pleasure. It brings back memories
from my past cricketing experiences.
It has been 2 years before Epl1 I had
ever played cricket.
I would like to express my
gratitude to Ramakrishnan
better known as Lalit Modi
of EPL for bringing the
Enigma Premier League from
a dream into reality. And
finally to all the players

An interview with the EPL1 winning team captain Gupta..
Did u join EPL1 on interest or did you want to prove yourself?
I joined EPL1 because of my interest in cricket and also to test
my level among other players.
In what do you believe as the success formula for your victories?
We planned each and every match, had own ideas and the team
mates where an excellent lot that we were able to excute all the
plans .
Whom do you think is the star player of your team?
Everyone in the team are stars on their own. But two names are
Melvin Mathew and Balaka.
Which was the toughest oppostion?
Chennai Spartans
Who were the toughest players ?
Ranganathan, Gurunathan and Kiran Reddy.
Did u want to have any player in your team from the opposition?
I really wanted Kiran Reddy.
You led your team to Victory in EPL1 . Now what are your
expectation in R – R EPL?
I wish to clinch the “Directors Cup” and want to create history
again.
What do you expect from your new team as a captain?
Co – operation, team work and enjoy the game.
How does your team goes??
Melvin, Jayakrishnan, Sachit, Alex, Ranjith,3 juniors and myself.
There is a talk among the crowd that your team is very strong and
will win the tournament this time what do you say about this?
We want to prove this true

When will EPL return

The EPL fever is back… The day scholars demanding an earlier timing
schedule of EPL. Owners of the EPL franchisees are very eager and are
very much interested in performing all the prerequisites for the R-R EPL.
The team owners have shown a lot of creativity as every team is
readying their logos and Jersey desgins by spending extra time with the
share holders and players and knowing their preferences. This in a way
had motivated the players to work hard as they are all excited about
the R- R EPL by seeing the commitment of their owners. The junior
presence has strengthened the prospects of EPL inspite of controveries,
unfavorable issues surronding and rumours spreading of cancelling the
R-R EPL . Some issues are being conveyed to the President and there
have been changes made to the rules and regulations and are very
eagerly waiting for the announcement of the schedule of the Rajasekar
– Ramkumar Enigma Premier League.
