This document summarizes key provisions from Mongolia's Law on Land regarding land possession and use. It states that Mongolian citizens over 18, companies, organizations, and companies with foreign investment can possess or use land in accordance with this law. It also states that certain types of land including pasturelands, public lands, lands under roads and networks, lands with forest or water resources must be used for common purposes under government regulation, regardless of whether they are possessed or used. Additionally, foreign countries, international organizations, foreign legal entities, foreign citizens and stateless persons can become land users for specific purposes and time periods by contract and in compliance with the law.
