1. In 2002, an art collective called BLk Sheep Opus was formed based on the idea of "Energy Conversion", transforming negative energy into positive energy through their creative works. 2. They held exhibitions to demonstrate this concept of changing destructive energy into productive outcomes. Their first major show in 2004 was called "Energy Conversion". 3. The group believes that through creativity, love and unity, energy that is otherwise spent in conflict or negativity can be harnessed and transformed into harmonious manifestations that uplift people and environments.

1. In 2002 when we started our kreative art collective BLk Sheep Opus we were already set upon a path of transformation and had in deed been born out of an ''Energy Conversion'' process<br />I went to visit a friend who told I that sumwon who had come by earlier on; said they knew Solomon(kna joHniFantastik) and he was the black sheep of his family. The other siblings were all successful in their chosen careers/lives; however Solomon was definitely the black sheep.<br />The universe is so timely, even in chaotic outbursts; a huge smile enveloped my entire being because we were looking for a perfect theme/philosophy for our movement/,our kreative art kollektive.<br />So we would hold exhibitions and interventions that would demonstrate the transformation from negative/destructive energy to positive /productive delivery.<br />Black Sheep are usually associated with negative connotations and this was a precise move from thoughts into deeds .Creating a positive spirit atmosphere, we would be builders of good where negative existed.<br />We held our first big exhibition on the concept in 2004 Feb ,I remember the flyer vividly ; ( BLk Sheep Opus Presents ''Energy Conversion'' )It also seemed an impact filled way to enter the 'Big' commercial art world of Joburg and beyond.<br />So we had the visual artists show this in their peaces and the spoken word songs also reflected these ideas and concepts.’ The movement of energy from a negative /destructive manifestation to a positive harmonized manifestation shedding a revelatory light upon the idea of ''Energy Conversion''.<br />We conclude that in the ‘Ultimate Reality’ everything is in constant motion and strangely enough, the 'stillness' is found in the transformation process. An eternity of transformation as a still crystallization of the mind '' to quiet'', with each revelatory expression being a quiet monument in itself .<br />To speak of ‘energy conversion’ one must first fathom energy conservation, for energy needs to be available for movement to occur.(energy cannot be destroyed ,however it can be used to create destruction) This then allows for transformation to happen ,.making it quite clear that for energy to manifest there must be energy in reserve, potential energy available.<br />When won plants trees in what used to be a waste dump we have gained energy and prevented energy being spent, even in small amounts its still a saving. The first energy spent is a result of ‘cringing’(a frown appears on your face when confronted with the sight of waste .The possible release of toxins in the atmosphere is a negative impact on any environment. The trees planted create not only a pleasant visual sight (preventing u to cringe-pull your face in disgust) ,they also release oxygen into the environment (after their own energy conversion process has happened internally-photosynthesis) by converting carbon oxides to oxygen for us to breathe in. Now this exercise itself of turning a waste dump into a green park (Mulalo Peace Park and Natural Museum-Diepkloof Zone 2 Soweto-Jozi ) is an example of ''applied physikal science''.The physical existence of a space was visually, structurally and ''spiritually transformed -if you think of nature as living spirit/organism. For Us at BLk Sheep Opus (Ai) this was the first reality of the concept ''energy conversion in a physikal sense. The first won was of how we acquired our name and movement; a spiritual realization that u can 'Choice '' to see sumthing as negative or positive .We realized that kreativity and love was a better energy field than revenge and hate.<br />Love=harnessing of energy =naturally in equiliberty, thus kreating in unison with the UniVerse.<br />I spent a weekend in jail because in a retaliatory act ; i sold my brother/cousin's fridge for rent money i had paid for a room outside the mainhouse.I found it locked and keys changed after giving them the rent money all because i allowed a youngster- artist to spend a few days cause he was living on the streets .I found his clothes thrown outside ;it is my paid for room i can do as i please with it for goodness sake! This brings us to energy spent when people are in conflict and not united by love /productive energy.<br />Energy is lost in destructive acts of disharmony for there is no consolidation of harmony; thus having less might. So when we begin to ''crystallize the mist and/or mystify the crystallization of how energy is nurtured and spent ,we come to Know ''Energy Conversion'' and its manifestations in reality ,in all realities .<br />Energy conversion is applied to manifest harmony in energy moving thereby vibrating love .<br />Love to the brother that called Solomon(joHniFantastik) the Black Sheep of his la familia to the visited sister; for he gave us ''Energy Conversion'' ,as a direct result of his negative thrust into a celebration/situation of life .<br />neYonderthaL-community art response ability<br />
