Emmy's favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice, her favorite song is "Brian Wilson" by The Barenaked Ladies which her father would sing to help her sleep, and her favorite animal is horses that she has been riding since childhood thanks to her grandfather and aunt. Python's "batteries included" philosophy means that it comes with an astonishing amount of great stuff. On top of that, there's a vibrant world of third-party libraries that help make Python even more wonderful. We'll go on a breezy, example-filled tour through some of my favorites, from treasures in the standard library to great third-party packages that I don't think I could live without, and we'll touch on some of the fuzzier aspects of the Python culture that make it such a joy to be part of.

3. Favorite Song Brian Wilson by The Barenaked Ladies When I was little and I couldn’t sleep, my dad would get me out of my crib, put on this song and sing and dance with me until I fell back to sleep.
4. Favorite Animal Horse Since before I can remember, my family has had horses. My parents hate them, but my grandfather and my aunt both fostered a love for horses in me early on. So even though I haven’t been taken formal lessons for very long, I’ve been riding horses since I was a little girl.
