Ellen is an outstanding young lady who is on a quest for knowledge. She is simply a
bright star for the Class of 2012.
I have known Ellen for the past two school years and in my fifteen years of teaching, I’ve
rarely seen a student with such a desire to learn and try new programs. She is the type of
student who when asked to do something, she’ll ask additional questions that are deeper
and more thought-provoking. Ellen really cares about process, so that she can improve
for the future. She is constantly focused on understanding all aspects of a text; showing
profound understanding of literature. Ellen desires the challenge and higher-level work
that comes from collegiate programs.
In addition, Ellen Fitzgerald is truly a bright star, gem, and any other glowing item. She
has the personality that remains positive, even in the most troublesome rehearsal. She
constantly is smiling and trying to find ways to bring people together. No matter what,
she motivates both cast and crew; she spends a great deal of time assisting on our crews,
too. This attribute has lead to her being selected as a Drama Officer for this year. She
motivates everyone to do his or her individual best. She is concerned about everyone
succeeding, a trait rarely seen today. She knows that when everyone works together in a
program, even if it is competitive, that the entire troupe succeeds.
Finally, Ellen has a great deal of talent that is constantly developing. She is a true worker
that pushes herself with acting, music, and dance. She really wants to develop into a true
triple-threat. It is through her amazing work-ethic that she is growing. Ellen pushes
herself hard knowing that through the work she will find success; a strong process leads
to even better product. It is time for her to be pushed on a broader scale. She will benefit
from the guidance that college provides.
Knowing the caliber of student that participates in your program and the high-
expectations you require, I have no doubt in recommending Ellen Fitzgerald. She is
simply a fun kid that you will enjoy spending time on the work. Ellen Fitzgerald will
