I am writing this reference in regard to reporter Eliza Winkler.
Eliza completed her cadetship at the Southern Highland News in Bowral.
She was a part of the SHN editorial team for a little over a year from April
2013.
Eliza covered most areas of news, starting with entertainment and sport
and spent the final six months at the paper as the council reporter.
I was impressed with her adaptability to all areas of news. Covering
council was quite challenging at times and she managed to do her job with
ease, accuracy and professionalism.
She was a great team member, always keen to step up for any story and
she had a special flair for photography.
I was also impressed with her ability to get to the bottom of issues and her
