2. Troubleshooting
Q: What if the screen is not displaying
slide show?
A: Push “Slide Show” on the remote or
power off and then on. Normally, the
screen will turn off after 10 minutes of no
movements.
Q: What if the screen is not turning
back on from movement?
A: Ensure the sensor on the lower left of
the frame is not blocked. If not blocked,
power the unit off and then back on.
Q: What if unit is sleeping at the
wrong time?
A: Sleep time starts at 5:30 PM and
ends at 7:00 AM (this can be changed in
settings). Check your time zone in
settings.
1. Press “Menu” on the frame or remote
2. Go to the gear icon for settings
3. Push down to “Time Zone Settings”
4. Go to “Set Time Zone”
5. Select the correct time zone and
push “OK”

Wireless Troubleshooting
Make sure that the SSID (username) and
network password (password) are correct.
Note: Wi-Fi passwords are case-sensitive.
"Abcd1234" is different from "abcd1234".
Make sure you are entering the
correct password for your Wi-Fi.
Q: Are there any devices connected to the
Wi-Fi aside from the frame and the
computer you are working on?
A: Check for any other devices that are
connected to your network. Be aware of the
Wi-Fi signal strength. The strength of the
Wi-Fi signal is indicated by bars. The weaker
the signal the fewer indication bars. If this is
the case, move closer to the router and avoid
any obstacles between the router and the
frame.
Q: Have you tried connecting to a
different Wi-Fi hot spot or network?
A: This can be done if there is any other
Wi-Fi hot spot available in the area. Try
connecting to another Wi-Fi hotspot. If the
frame still cannot connect with other
networks, then the issue is the billboard. If
you are able to connect the frame using
another Wi-Fi network, then your own
Wi-Fi connection may be the problem.
Power cycle
Power cycle both the frame and your
router. Disconnect both of them from the
power outlet. When plugging them back,
connect the router first. Make sure that
Internet or WLAN on router lights up
(indicator that Wi-Fi is being set up) before
turning the frame back on.
