I’M A BLACKSMITH
My job consists... My job consists of forging swords, shields and armors for the people who ask for it, We exchange that for money.
What kind of tools I use in my job? The hammer The fire The iron
ONE DAY IN MY LIFE I get up at 7:00 o’clock. I have a glass of milk for breakfast with cookies. I earn every day more or less thirty coins of silver and ten of gold. I work with my father in a small workshop.
I like my work but it’s very tired because in one day they entrust me more or less two swords, a shield and often an armor. My most common clients are the king and some of his knights. I don’t work with uniform because it’s very inconvenient and I never know the hour that I stop working. It depends on the work that I have.
Normally, in one day I work 8 hours. To be a blacksmith is a hard work as all those who exist. I buy my tools to a friend and I pay to him ten coins of silver and one of gold for every hammer. The women can do this job just as well as men.
I've been working on this for twenty years and I intend to stop in twenty years more.
THE END
