This document provides instructions for editing video clips in a project window, including how to log shots by copying clips into a new "log bin", renaming the files, and tips for trimming clips by dragging red trim handles or using keyboard shortcuts to cut, zoom in, and more. 3. Logging the shot
Go through the material and see what clips you like
Make a new bin (folder) and call it “log bin”
Click ‘edit’ and ‘copy’ then ‘edit’ and ‘paste’ the clip into the new
file
Rename the file e.g. “close up face”
