Information Technologies (IT)
Specialist and Audio Visual Technician
• Provided IT and audio/visual technical support services to NSU
faculty, staff, students and other users of NSU’s videoconferencing
systems and computers.
• Assisted multimedia producers with the development and
implementation of multimedia projects such as the Technology Fair,
Biggest Looser competition, Speech and language school students.
• Responsible for the installation, setup, and maintenance of the NSU
Theatre audio/ visual systems.
• Configured the layout for and set up multiple computer labs in the
NSU Library, the Performing and Visual Arts Center and the
Oceanographic Center.
• Identified problems with and repaired computer equipment and
support tools such as smart classrooms, electronic classrooms,
offices, clinics, video conferencing.
• Assisted Arena Manager with coordination of all NSU arena
scheduling; acted as a liaison with University and outside arena
users regarding scheduling, setup and operation of events such
as the visit of the Dali Lama and Desmond Tutu.
• Kept inventory of technology equipment and issued reports to
ensure inventory accuracy.
• Supervised and directed teams of up to 12 student employees.
