I have over 20 years of experience in complex
operations, maintenance, repairs and project
management of large utility and private enterprise
power systems. My experience includes energy
storage systems, boiler and power plant operations,
and maintenance mechanic. I got my start in the power
industry during my five year tour in the US Navy.
While employed at Altair Nano, I was a production
operator in a large energy storage facility, known for
its clean energy systems applied to the smart grid,
renewable energy integration, and remote
uninterrupted power supply, serving transportation
and industrial customers.
At NORESCO, I held two positions. In 2011 I was
rehired as a project manager. My responsibilities were
site specific and include managing the day-to-day
tasks from bid award through compliance, quality
control, commissioning, M&V activities, and
customer hand-off at the end of the performance
contract. I facilitated the communications of project
scope and oversaw the activities of subcontractors,
vendors and partners for assigned projects.
Previously, I had been employed by NORESCO as a
boiler and power plant operator assigned to the
Nevada Department of Corrections, Biomass Power
Plant, a project that was designed, built and managed
by NORESCO.
In my spare time, I own and operate a horse breeding
ranch in Washoe Valley, NV. where I perform all
aspects of maintenance and repair for plumbing,
electrical, building and HVAC.
