4 EcoXpertTM University Accreditation path summary I Building Management Systems Track Sales Technical Pre-requisites Basic understanding of HVAC control and solutions. - Determine if the SI/Partner individual has experience with EBO. IF yes, has the SI/Partner been trained in EBO release 2.X or above. If not, individual must first follow the right side path first. - Basic knowledge of BMS Industry Open Protocols – such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks needed Intermediate Sales curriculum for EcoStruxure Building interacting with customers with focus at value based selling activities. The content of this curriculum is fully delivered as a self-paced training package. SI/Partners who are new to EcoStruxure Building with no background or little knowledge about EcoStruxure Building. In this training package learn how to engineer an EcoStruxure Building project using EcoStruxure Building Operation. Learn the fundamentals of BACnet IP as it is an essential part of an EcoStruxure Building solution. All important features of EcoStruxure Building Operation will be handled, both from a theoretical and a hands-on perspective with many well-designed exercises. An already certified engineer or an experienced EcoStruxure Building engineer should attend the fully self-paced SmartX Engineering Upgrade 3.x (BLDBMSC0001014) curriculum instead. Proficient Learn how to communicate using in- depth technical sales discussions and get good technical knowledge about the product and system solutions. Learn how to create a customer system design and how to make required calculations for a cost estimation. Script Programming The EcoStruxure Building: Script Programming virtual class is intended for field service and project engineering staff that require a knowledge of how to program an EcoStruxure BMS system using the script programming language. (Course ID: BLDTECV0001003) CRS Engineering This curriculum course is about the Connected Room Solution, which offers the RP Series Expansion Modules with power distribution for light and blinds. The participant will learn to engineer the RP-C and RP Series Expansion Modules using the “top-down” engineering method. The focus is to engineer a connected room solution for lights controlled by RP Series Expansion Module for DALI and a low voltage blind module for blinds. In the course the new event script programming method will be introduced for programming of lights and blinds. In this course the concept of zoning and re-zoning is taught and with both theoretical and practical exercises. Optional Courses These courses of, Graphics Editor, Advanced Bacnet Communications and Function Block Programming are designed to further enhance the skills of your engineers, enabling them to increase their efficiency but also maximise the system solution technology to the maximum. Expert Not applicable This curriculum is intended for engineering and service personnel working with EcoStruxure Building and EcoStruxure Building Operation software. This advanced engineering curriculum is for those that are certified for SmartX Advanced Engineering. The content in this training package include the new features of the latest EcoStruxure Building release. This will include features and functions of the Advanced Engineering Tool, linked to the SmartX IP hardware, such as the AS, MP-X and RP-X and I/O modules.

10 EcoXpertTM University Accreditation path summary I Access Control Track Sales Technical Pre-requisites Basic understanding of Access Control components and function. - Determine if the SI/Partner individual has experience with Access Control systems. - Basic knowledge of access control system components. Intermediate Sales curriculum for EcoStruxure Security Expert, providing the fundamentals of Access Control and Intruder systems. Understanding also the available migration packages from legacy solutions. Fully delivered as a self- paced training and test package. Learn the fundamentals of the Security Expert package, including how to: - Configure Client Access - Design the most efficient network Architecture - Assign the appropriate licensing configuration - Select the optimal hardware - Engineer and configure the entire network 2 further classroom courses aimed at Engineers and Installers are provided for the SP-C Web option. Proficient Learn how to communicate using in- depth technical sales discussions and get good technical knowledge about the product and system solutions. Learn how to create a customer system design, licensing packages, hardware combinations, including keypads and readers and how to make required calculations for a cost estimation. In-depth online training allowing the engineer to ensure the most efficient system design and performance for the end user by demonstrating and showing how to configure the hardware and software, both for access and intruder applications. The modules also include fault finding tips & tricks for hardware and IP performance. The Advanced Features modules describes the Virtual Inputs and Virtual Outputs in terms of addressing, naming and creation. Two programming examples are described from start to finish. Optional End User: Operator and Engineers courses are available as Post Work handover. IF yes, has the SI/Partner been trained in EBO release 2.X or above. If not, individual must first follow the right side path first. - Basic knowledge of BMS Industry Open Protocols – such as BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks needed Intermediate Sales curriculum for EcoStruxure Building interacting with customers with focus at value based selling activities. The content of this curriculum is fully delivered as a self-paced training package. SI/Partners who are new to EcoStruxure Building with no background or little knowledge about EcoStruxure Building. In this training package learn how to engineer an EcoStruxure Building project using EcoStruxure Building Operation. Learn the fundamentals of BACnet IP as it is an essential part of an EcoStruxure Building solution. All important features of EcoStruxure Building Operation will be handled, both from a theoretical and a hands-on perspective with many well-designed exercises. An already certified engineer or an experienced EcoStruxure Building engineer should attend the fully self-paced SmartX Engineering Upgrade 3.x (BLDBMSC0001014) curriculum instead. Proficient Learn how to communicate using in- depth technical sales discussions and get good technical knowledge about the product and system solutions. Learn how to create a customer system design and how to make required calculations for a cost estimation. Script Programming The EcoStruxure Building: Script Programming virtual class is intended for field service and project engineering staff that require a knowledge of how to program an EcoStruxure BMS system using the script programming language. (Course ID: BLDTECV0001003) CRS Engineering This curriculum course is about the Connected Room Solution, which offers the RP Series Expansion Modules with power distribution for light and blinds. The participant will learn to engineer the RP-C and RP Series Expansion Modules using the “top-down” engineering method. The focus is to engineer a connected room solution for lights controlled by RP Series Expansion Module for DALI and a low voltage blind module for blinds. In the course the new event script programming method will be introduced for programming of lights and blinds. In this course the concept of zoning and re-zoning is taught and with both theoretical and practical exercises. Optional Courses These courses of, Graphics Editor, Advanced Bacnet Communications and Function Block Programming are designed to further enhance the skills of your engineers, enabling them to increase their efficiency but also maximise the system solution technology to the maximum.
