What is Echo Housing
System?
 Echo Housing involves introducing a degree of
computerized or automatic control to certain
electrical and electronics system in a building.
 These lighting, temperature control, etc.., this
paper demonstrate a simple Echo Housing system
which contains a remote mobile host controller
and several client module (home appliances).
 The client modules communicate with host
controllers through a wireless device such as a
Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, in this case, an
android based smart phone.

INTRODUCTION
 There is an increasing demand for smart homes,
where appliances react automatically to changing
environmental conditions and can be easily
controlled through one common device.
 This paper presents a possible solution whereby
the user controls devices by employing a
central microcontroller using app, where control is
communicated to the MC from a mobile phone
through its Bluetooth interface.

Bluetooth Module:
 Arduino HC 05 is
a Bluetooth Smart module
targeted for low-power
sensors and accessories.
 It integrates all features
required for
a Bluetooth Smart
application.
 It is powered directly from a
standard 3V coin cell battery
or a pair of AAA batteries In
my case I’m gonna connect
it to MC directly.
Relay Switch :
A relay is an electrically
operated switch.
Relays are used where it
is necessary to control a
circuit by a low-power
signal.
Relays protect electrical
circuits from overload or
faults.
Interface :
Working :
 Application will start searching for h05 module,
And will establish connecting automatically.
 The status of e-appliances connected with
Bluetooth module can be seen on app.
 There will be a toggle button for all electrical
appliances.
 User have two choices On 0r 0ff (1 || 0)
 As user hit toggle button 0 or 1 will be sent to
Bluetooth module with unique id.
 After receiving signal from module MC will react
accordingly.
 This wireless technology is especially useful in
home environment, where there exists hardly any
infrastructure to interconnect intelligent
appliances.
 Echo Housing System could be suitably used for
smart Housing in a cost-effective manner.
Operating over unlicensed, universally available
frequency of 2.4 GHz, it can link digital devices
within a range of 10 m (expandable to 100 m, by
increasing the transmitted power) at the speed of
1 Mbps.
 Building upon this theme; we propose a Echo
Housing system based on Bluetooth technology.
 The Echo housing system will be fast enough to
realize the true power of wireless technology.

Advantages :
 The main advantage of “Echo Housing through
Android Mobile” is that the “Physically Challenged
and Disabled People” .
 Replace television, air conditioner etc., remotes
for sleep mode.
 Saves energy when e-appliances are on but not in
use by setting them on stand by or switching off.
Choice is yours.
 All components will consume energy as they
should by reading variations in environment. Like
Thermometer & Motion detector etc.
Conclusion :
 Echo Housing System is an org which can make a
home environment automated completely. People
can control their electrical devices via these Echo
Housing provided trained devices and set up
controlling actions through Mobile, O yeh.
 Whenever I made enough money to buy Wi-Fi
antenna this automation will be shifted on Wi-Fi as
the range of Bluetooth is so short.
 In future this product may have high potential for
marketing Inshallah!
