Asperger's Syndrome is a developmental disorder first identified by Hans Asperger in 1944. It is characterized by difficulties with social and communication skills. Research shows structural and functional differences in brain regions involved in social and emotional processing like the temporal lobe and amygdala. Asperger's is considered higher functioning on the autism spectrum than autism. In schools, students with Asperger's may have difficulty with social skills, transitions, and understanding nonliteral language. Teachers are encouraged to provide visual supports, minimize transitions, and implement strategies like the TEACCH method to best support students with Asperger's.

The Saturday Studio Outreach program aims to ignite the art spark in young learners through organized groups of NAU students presenting planned art activities and lessons, though not everything always goes according to plan. The program has a history of using student volunteers to advertise and hold scheduled art lessons and presentations for children in the community to attend.
Brands have significant economic value and account for over one-third of shareholder value on average for companies. While tangible assets were traditionally viewed as the main source of business value, today intangible assets like brands are recognized as the primary driver of value. Accounting standards have evolved to recognize acquired brand values on balance sheets. There is ongoing debate around quantifying and reporting brand values in a consistent manner to improve transparency of corporate asset values and long-term performance.
