MEDICALEAF, WELLNESS FROM NATURE…
For millennia, cannabis has been utilised and revered for its medicinal and psychoactive properties; it is well documented that physicians from ancient cultures around the world used it to treat pain and other ailments.
More recently, scientists have discovered remarkable medicinal effects: in test tubes, the molecule shielded neurons from oxidative stress, a damaging process common in many neurological disorders and provided the well-publicised ‘miracle’ to alleviate symptoms for epilepsy sufferers.
CBD is one molecule from the cannabis plant and hailed as a therapeutic cure-all. Unlike the better-known ‘marijuana molecule’, THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD is not psychoactive, meaning it does not get users ‘high’.
The animated film shows a simplified, fictionalised, story, concentrating upon the central characters. The true history is, however, just as interesting, and thoroughly epic in nature.

SYNOPSIS
It is the year 2037. Our world is dying, not a single child has been born in 20 years.A virus caused by the global implantation
of medical ID chips, overseen by the world’s most powerful corporation, has rendered mankind infertile.
Two scientists, experimenting with teleportation, stumble upon time travel. The possibility of traveling back in time - to a
period before the population was implanted with the ID chips - brings forth the possibility they can alter the future (ie - the
present) and save mankind from extinction.
But saving mankind is never easy. The Butterfly Effect is the supreme wild card and it’s a serious consideration. Changes made
to the past will cause a ripple, and may not have the desired effect upon the future. The two men take the trip back in time,
and quickly realize they do not share the same strategy. Nico is careful, not as comfortable making changes, more judicious.
Thomas believes the stakes warrant any and all action; he is impulsive, using a“balls to the wall” approach ... whatever it takes.
