The RPL programme under PMKVY was inaugurated in Bangalore, presided over by Justice Chandrashekariah and in the presence of MLA L A Ravi Subramanya. DTSS staff received specialized kits and materials to help implement the programme. The RPL process involves mobilizing candidates, counseling and pre-screening, 12 hours of mandatory orientation, final assessment, and issuing certificates, marksheets, and Rs. 500 to successful candidates. RPL is implemented through one of three project types - camps, on-site at employer premises, or at designated centers - by a Project Implementing Agency.

The inauguration of RPL under PMKVY was held in Bangalore.

Chandrashekariah, former judge of the high court of Karnataka
in the presence of L A Ravi Subramanya, MLA of the
Basavangudi Constituency.
DTSS staff were handed over specialized kits and training
materials that would help them through this programme.
