This document outlines training for drug enforcement operations, including building clearing. It describes training for basic drug enforcement operations over 2 weeks covering planning, surveillance, identification, weapons, and room clearing. Further training covers drug raids over 4 weeks including assault team selection, surveillance, crime scene preservation, and single and multilevel building assaults. Specific training covers the fundamentals of tactical building clearing, including team member responsibilities, movement, weapon discipline, and room clearing. Additional courses cover self defense, leadership, and conducting simulated drug raids in single and multilevel buildings.
2. Objective
Trainee will learn the difference between a
deliberate and dynamic building clearing.
Explorers should be able to employ techniques for
a regular patrol response to a building clearing
situation and a tactical raid search typically used in
narcotic raids. He should be able to use tactical
thinking during these scenarios and demonstrate
the ability for a team to work together in clearing a
building.
