A new study in Spain has revealed that those who enjoy drinking beer are happier and healthier than people who do not.

Scientists in Spain have said that those who enjoy supping a pint or two rate their health and happiness levels higher than teetotallers and ex-drinkers.

Experts at the University of Murcia analysed data from more than 33,000 respondents to the country's 2012 and 2017 National Health Surveys.
