Dr. Raju Parameswaran has over 30 years of experience teaching chemistry at the graduate and postgraduate levels. He holds a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology. Currently he is the Head of Department of Applied Science and Humanities at Albertian College of Science & Technology. His research focuses on using various oils as plasticizers in rubber compounds. He has published several papers and guided M.Sc. student projects in this area.

I have 30 yearsof teachingexperience in graduate andpostgraduate levels. I completed Master
of Science (M.Sc.) in Pure Chemistry, from Kerala University in 1981, Master of Philosophy
(MPhil), in Industrial Chemistry from Alagappa University, Tamil Nadu, India and Ph.D. in
Polymer Science and Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2009.
I servedasthe Head of the Department of ChemistryatStPaul’s College, Kalamassery, Kerala. I
have published various papers and attended conferences throughout my career. I have also
guided Project Work prepared by M.Sc. Students at Cochin University of Science and
Technology. I was the convener of the National Seminar “Frontiers in Polymer Science &
Technology 2014″ sponsored by UGC. I have also served as the NSS coordinator at St. Paul’s
College, Kerala. I am currently the Head of Department of Applied Science and Humanities in
Albertian College of Science & Technology, Kalamassery.
