Douglas McWilliams is a senior at the University of Georgia majoring in Journalism and Public Relations with a 3.6 GPA. He has been on the Dean's List for six of the last eight semesters and studied abroad in Austria. McWilliams has over two years of experience writing articles for The Odyssey UGA magazine and maintains a popular blog and YouTube channel. He is involved with cancer advocacy groups and has raised over $22,000 for cancer research. Relevant coursework includes music theory, graphic communications, and public relations law.

Cancer – Advocate for compassionate care Lifetime
 Awkwardly phrased but inspired by personalexperience, I have dedicated my life to helping those suffering from
cancer.
 Raised over $22,000 for my high school’s Susan G. Komen fundraiser and enlisted over 200 students,staff,and
football players to walk a 5k.
 Plan to auction my artwork off in order to fund cancer fighting research and efforts to help those suffering from
the disease.
