Staff Sergeant Don Girling retired from the Medicine Hat Police Force on August 10, 2012 after a 37-year career. He grew up knowing he wanted to be a police officer and thoroughly enjoyed his early rookie years and various roles within the police force over time, including time spent with the drill team. He had a very supportive family and was well-respected by his fellow officers and those in the community he protected over many years of service.
My daughter and I celebrated National Take Your Daughter to Work Day. Check it out and give it a whirl next year. We had a blast. Special thanks to Green Builders for supporting the cause.
For sure, going to a traditional Korean wedding photo studio is still very much on the cards for most couples. That is because some want to maintain the traditions while others might want to record some private moments before parties.

2. From a very young age, Don Girling
knew he wanted to be a police
officer. He grew up in Calgary but
each summer he spent his summers
with his Nanny and Granddad
Bissett in Dunmore. So imagine
how thrilled he was to become a
constable for the Medicine Hat
Police Force – October 20, 1975.
