1. CV WELDER
I am a skilled welder with over 25 years experience
working in this trade. I am multi coded in both pipe and
plate welding up to ASME 9 level - as well as multiple
other British standard codes.
Most recently I have been working for Brocol Pipeworks
in Wakefield as a TIG pipe welder - mainly stainless, but
also some carbon steel welding - this was a contract
welding job via an agency.
I am multi coded on both TIG and MMA welding - both on
stainless and mild steel. I am experienced working on pipe,
plate and light gauge sheet metal.
I have experience working in a wide variety of
enginneering environments - these include heavy plate
welding involving multi fillet runs, using both solid and
flux-cored Mig wire on structural and plate steel.
A brief list of some of the firms I have worked for and the
kind of work I undertook :
I worked at Bombardier in Wakefield as a MIG welder for
nearly 10 years - mainly repairing train body chasis, with
some basic fitting and fabrication involved also.
2. I worked at Joseph Rhoades as a TIG and MMA welder.
The work was all related to the oil industry - sub contraced
from Cammerons - mainly welding large pipe branches up
to x-ray standard - TIG root and MMA fill and cap.
Lastly I believe myself to be a skilled and adaptable
tradesman, who can readily integrate into most working
environments.
