Analysis:
Why filmmaking is considered
a true modern art form?
Very good! That is true!
Another question!
Can you give an example of
technological advances
contributed to the evolution of
filmmaking?
Okay! Very good! Thank you. I
It is modern art
because it uses the
modern technologies
and through it, we
make art through the
things that we capture
and the nature or
background we use.
Ma’am, as I observe
before they created
film with colors and if
with colors it is not so
cleared. But in today’s
generation, we have

there five are the major
groups that are involve in
filmmaking and these are :
Film Directors - He or she

the editing and sound dubbing

Cinematographers - a
person who oversees or

Do you understand?
So let us proceed to the
different types of FILM
GENRES, These are:
Documentary Film - Its
purpose is to make you aware
and actively participate in a
society that can make shape
the future of this world. Other
purposes of a documentary
film are to inform, attack a
perspective, to persuade,
educate, entertain, defend a
perspective, to critique, and to
observe real life.
Art Film - It is "intended to be

Special Effect - are illusions
or visual tricks used in the
theatre, film, television, video
game and simulator industries
to simulate the imagined
events in a story or virtual
world.
Futuristic - is a genre that
uses speculative, fictional
science-based depictions of
phenomena that are not fully
accepted by mainstream
science, such as
extraterrestrial life forms,
alien worlds, extrasensory
perception and time travel,
along with futuristic elements
such as spacecraft and robots.

Processing Question:
What type of movies do you
most enjoy watching & why?
Wow, very good! That’s deep!
Thank you for your answer.
Ma’am, as for me who
don’t like dramas in
real life, I enjoyed
watching comedy
movies. Because In
my life there lots of
crying and most of the
time my heart felt
heavy. So whenever I
watch movie, I prefer
comedies.

E. Generalization:
Base from your activity and
your given task what do you
think is the role /
responsibilities of the film
director!
How did or in what way did
the filmmaking become one
the power tools of
communication?
Ma’am, I think that the
role of the film director
is directing the actors
on how they portray
their characters.
Film is one of the most
powerful tools of
communication
because it gives us
exact information or
idea, of what is really
happening on
someone else’s life or
situation.
f. Values integration
Every film that we watch on TV or on
big screen can be related in our
lives, but the main difference there
is in film everything is planned and
edited, but in reality it can’t be
planned and it can’t be edited. So do
well and be kind always.
