This document outlines different types of work that Christians can do, including benevolence work through the church and as individuals, spreading the gospel through evangelism, and building each other up through edification. It encourages readers to immerse themselves in the work God has prepared and follow Jesus' example by getting busy doing the work they have been called to do.

3. CHURCH BENEVOLENCE

4. INDIVIDUAL BENEVOLENCE
• Do good to all, especially your Christian

5. SPREAD THE GOSPEL
“Evangelism”
• This command started with the apostles
and goes to all disciples. Matthew 28:18-

• It is the church’s mission. Eph. 3:10
• Barnabas & Saul did this with the church
in Antioch. Acts 11:22-26
• Every Christian’s mission. 1 Tim. 4:16

6. EDIFICATION
• The church has the role of building up
each other. Eph. 4:15-16
• To stir up each other unto love and good
works, exhorting… Hebrews 10:24-25
• To teach the Word of God in preaching.
Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 4:17; Romans 1:15
• By other forms of worship too. Eph. 5:19;

7. HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING?
• We need to follow Jesus’ example. Jn. 9:4
• Get busy doing the work God has called

• Obey Jesus today and be saved.
