Dialogue
1. Stage: Coffee Shop.
2. Characters:
 (Katy, the waitress)
 (Rose)
 (Mark)
 (Jack)
 (John)
3. Dialogue:
Rose, comes into Nice Coffee, gets sit and Katy goes to take her order.
Waitress: Good morning, welcome to nice coffee. I’m Katy; I’m going to
be your waitress today. May I offer you something? Today we have
croissants, continental breakfast, juice and coffee.
Rose: Good morning Katy, just an orange juice please. I’m waiting for
someone.
Waitress: Would you prefer it cold or natural?
Rose: I’d prefer it cold and without sugar, please.
Waitress: Would you like anything else?
Rose: No, thanks, maybe later, when my friends arrive.
(The Waitress goes to the kitchen and then Mark and Jack come)
Mark: Hello Rose, what a surprise! I haven’t seen you in ages.
Rose: Hello Mark, nice to see you again.
Mark: Oh sorry, Rose this is my friend Jack, from college. And Jack
she is my old friend Rose. We don’t meet since High school.
Rose: Glad to meet you. Jack
Jack: Nice to meet you Rose.
(In this moment the Waitress comes with the juice)
Waitress: Here you are. Hi, I’m Katy. Ready to order?
Rose: Yes, of course, I’ll have a croissant
Mark: I’ll take the same.
Jack: me too
Waitress: And what would you like to drink? We have a very good
coffee.
Jack: I’d like an orange juice.
Mark: I’ll take the Coffee. It might be great.
Waitress: Ok, I’m going to bring your order right now.
(The Waitress goes back to the kitchen.)
Waitress: John, I need three Croissants, one coffee and an orange
juice.
John: Ok, They’ll be ready in about 10 minutes.
(Meanwhile, in the table, Rose, Jack and Mark are talking about their
jobs)
Rose: Yesterday at my work appears this huge guy. He was as big as
a Truck, and then asks for a dress, that was one of the funniest things I ever
saw.
Jack: So you are a Seamstress?
Rose: No exactly, I’m a Designer. And what do you do Jack?
Jack: I’m a Musician. I’m going to be famous.
Rose: that’s very good, and what do you do Mark?
Mark: I’m an engineer, it’s a great Job.
(They were talking, when the waitress comes with the food, and
interrupts them.)
Waitress: Excuse me, Here is your food
Mark: Ok, thank you
Waitress: Sorry we don’t have what you ask for, so I brought you three
British pasties, and a couple of orange juice.
Rose, Mark & Jack: It’s ok.
(They eat it)
Rose: These are pretty good. What do you think?
Jack: I think these are the best pasties I have eaten.
Mark: Yeah, These are really amazing; can we talk with the chef?
Waitress: Certainly, I’ll go for him.
(The Waitress goes to the kitchen)
Waitress: John, they want to talk to you.
John. Why is it for?
Waitress: ‘Cause of your food, they said it was great.
(John goes to the table)
John: I’ve heard that you like my food.
Rose: Yeah, it is very good.
(Mark looks at his watch)
Mark: Sorry, I have to go; I have an important meeting, see you later.
Jack: I have to go too, good bye
Rose: Well, me too. Bye bye
(Rose, Jack and Mark say goodbye, let the tip on the table and go)
Waitress and John. Good bye, come back soon.
