RING ROAD
• Ring Road, the highway 1 that circles the perimeter of the country
covering 828 miles (1332 km). The landscape changed
constantly, providing perfect photo ops at every turn. Really, just
about every single turn!
• A typical Itinerary for 4 days :
• Day 1 : Arrive at Reykjavik
• Day 2 : Visit Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Field and Magnificent Gulfoss waterfall
• Day 3 : Visit Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and diamond beach and stay back in Vik
• Day 4 : Visit Seljalandofoss, Skogafoss waterfall and while coming back visit Blue Lagoon
• Average room Tariff on twin sharing basis would be 10000/- night.
• Food is very expensive in Iceland ( approx. 3000/- per person per meal).
• There are a few Indian Restaurants as well.
• If self driving, over speeding fine is massive so avoid over speeding. ( We have got two tickets)
• If the group is family then cottages to be preferred over Hotel.
• Generally Icelandic cottages are equipped with a natural hot water tubs.
