Philip DeRise completed his B.S. in Psychology with Honors from Penn State University in 2015. His honors thesis examined the effects of partial sleep deprivation and circadian rhythms on memory and arousal. During his time at Penn State, he held research assistant positions in multiple psychology labs and presented his research findings at undergraduate conferences. He graduated with high honors and received numerous academic awards throughout his undergraduate career.
