Startup Labs Syracuse, is the region’s largest business competition with $350,000 in cash and prizes
awarded to five teams. The goal of the new competition is to support the region’s entrepreneurs and
accelerate their ideas to the marketplace.
Startup Labs Syracuse Demo Day wraps up an intensive 22-day program where five finalists worked
daily with more than 50 mentors and advisors at The Tech Garden. Each finalist received an initial
$30,000 investment at the beginning of the program.
The winner of Demo Day will be annouinced at the CenterState CEO Annual Meeting on April 8, 2013
and will receive $200,000 in cash and prizes.
Syracuse is the first US city to host Startup Labs’ intense 22-day program. Only five other cities have
hosted the program worldwide including: Istanbul, Turkey; Taipei, Taiwan; Mexico City, Mexico; Rio de
Janeiro, Brazil; New Delhi, India.

Full Circle Feed (Syracuse, NY): Full Circle Feed is a former Student Sandbox company that takes
nutritionally-dense food leftovers from dining halls and processes them into dog treats.
