History of Qutubminar
   Nqutu Miner pronunciation (help info) (English: The
    Qutub Tower; Urdu:                      also Qutb Minar, is
    aUNESCO World Heritage Site in Delhi, India.[1] The
    Qutub Minar is constructed with red sandstone and
    marble, and is the tallest minaret in India,[2] with a
    height of 72.5 metres (237.8 ft). It contains 379
    stairs[citation needed] and the base diameter is 14.3
    metres and it narrows to 2.7 metres at the last storey.
    The Construction was begun by qutub-ud-din
    Aibak in 1192•4 References by Iltutmish. [3][4] It

    is surrounded by several other ancient and medieval
