Qutab Minar is a 72.5 meter tall minaret located in Delhi, India that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was begun in 1192 AD by Qutub-ud-din Aibak and completed by Iltutmish, and contains 379 stairs that narrow from a base diameter of 14.3 meters to 2.7 meters at the top. It is surrounded by several other historic structures collectively known as the Qutub complex.
