This document contains worksheets and activities about seasons, the sun, moon, and stars for educational purposes. It includes diagrams to label different lunar phases, grids to identify night and daytime objects in the sky, pictures to draw shadows, and seasonal images to cut and sort. The worksheets provide information and interactive elements to teach students about astronomical cycles and seasonal changes throughout the year.
The document discusses geometric transformations including reflection, rotation, and translation. Each section covers one of these concepts and provides examples of how to apply the transformation to shapes on a coordinate plane. The document aims to explain the different types of geometric transformations and how they can alter the position of shapes.
This presentation offered to the Institute of Management Consultants provides an overview of how to be a thought leader online - rules of engagement, getting started, how to connect and how to manage time efficiently.
The document lists and defines a variety of emotions in English. It groups similar emotions together such as delighted, ecstatic, cheerful, and overjoyed under positive emotions. In contrast, it lists miserable, depressed, and sorry under negative emotions. The document also includes mixed emotions like frustrated, confused, and let down. It ends by providing examples of matching pairs of opposite emotions like relieved and depressed or delighted and determined.
Thermal energy is the total kinetic and potential energy in a substance that determines its temperature. Thermal energy is always transferred from warmer objects to cooler ones through conduction, convection, or radiation. Conduction involves the direct contact and vibration of particles, convection involves the movement of molecules within a substance from warmer to cooler areas, and radiation transfers heat through space in the form of waves.
The document provides steps for converting fractions to percentages. It explains that to convert a fraction like 3/4 to a percentage, one divides the numerator by the denominator, adds two zeros after the dividend, places the decimal in the quotient above the decimal, divides using long division, and moves the decimal two places right and changes it to a percent sign. It then works through examples of converting 1/5, 3/4, and other fractions to percentages. The document concludes by listing some common fraction-percentage equivalents to memorize.

Empower Your Zultys Mx Platform With Reliable Voice Secure Fax And VideoEtherSpeak, Inc.
This document presents information on Zip Trunks and various voice services including BurstaTrunk, RedundaTrunk, EtherFax, and Video services. BurstaTrunk only charges for concurrent calls and requires a six trunk commitment. RedundaTrunk provides auto failover routing and costs $9.95 per month. EtherFax allows sending and receiving faxes over SIP trunks from any device without needing dedicated fax lines. It provides cost savings over traditional fax machines. Contact information is provided to setup a demo and test of Zip Trunks.
The document provides tips for living a better life in 2010, including recommendations to take daily walks while smiling, meditate for 10 minutes each day, sleep 7 hours per night, embrace energy, enthusiasm and empathy, play games, read books, drink water, eat more natural foods and less processed foods, spend time with both the elderly and young children, forgive others and past mistakes, and focus on the present moment rather than things outside of one's control. The overall message is about maintaining a positive outlook, taking care of one's physical, mental and social well-being, being mindful, and letting go of negativity, comparisons and past issues.
This document defines percent and compares it to fractions, decimals, and money. It explains that percent means parts per hundred, and provides examples comparing percentages like 50% and 25% to fractions like 1/2 and 1/4, and decimals like 0.50 and 0.25. It also demonstrates how to write percentages as fractions and decimals. Examples are given showing how to use percentages to solve problems involving parts of a whole, like finding 50% of a number of objects.

"Open Source and The Technology Learning Curve" by Andrei Pascal @ eLiberatic...eLiberatica
This is a presentation held at eLiberatica 2007.
http://www.eliberatica.ro/2007/
One of the biggest events of its kind in Eastern Europe, eLiberatica brings community leaders from around the world to discuss about the hottest topics in FLOSS movement, demonstrating the advantages of adopting, using and developing Open Source and Free Software solutions.
The eLiberatica organizational committee together with our speakers and guests, have graciously allowed media representatives and all attendees to photograph, videotape and otherwise record their sessions, on the condition that the photos, videos and recordings are licensed under the Creative Commons Share-Alike 3.0 License.
4G networks were developed to address the limitations of 3G networks in supporting high-capacity multimedia services and applications with lower costs. 4G uses an all-IP based Evolved Packet Core network and advanced radio technologies like OFDM, multiple antennas, and link adaptation to provide seamless high-speed wireless broadband connectivity and end-to-end quality of service. Key improvements include an evolved packet core, all-IP networking, seamless handovers between networks, and the end of circuit-switched voice calls.
This document provides an overview of Bacula, an open source network backup solution. It describes the main Bacula components including the Bacula Director, Console, File, Storage, Catalog, and Monitor services. It also discusses how Bacula allows for centralized backup/restore, scheduling, job prioritization, security features, restoration capabilities, storage device support, operating system support, and graphical user interfaces. The document concludes by announcing $4.5 million in funding for Bacula Systems to deliver enterprise-grade open source backup and restoration technologies to large data centers.

This document discusses three ways to configure Linux bonding in the kernel: 1) Using modprobe and alias commands, 2) Using sysfs directly by writing to bonding_masters and mode files, and 3) Adding slaves to an interface using sysfs without ifenslave. It notes the benefits of the sysfs method are handling multiple interfaces, reconfiguring without reboot, and avoiding problems with modprobe.
UDPCast is software that uses multicast over UDP to copy the contents of a computer's hard drive (seed host) to other computers on a network. It allows administrators to easily install and maintain the same software and operating system configuration on multiple computers, such as in a school computer lab. The imaging process involves preparing the hosts, installing software on the seed host, and using sender and receiver processes to transfer the contents over the network from the seed host to the other hosts using multicast UDP packets.
Org-Mode is an Emacs mode for note taking, task management, and plain text organization. It allows you to create documents with hierarchical structure, tags, timestamps, and status keywords. The presentation demonstrated Org-Mode and provided instructions for installing and configuring it, with additional resources for learning more.
