12. Dear Collectors and friends,
We are holding our traditional Spring/Summer auction series, from June 12 to 15, 2018, which com-
prises four different catalogues. Please consult our website to view or download all the catalogues
at www.davidfeldman.com.
We would like to heartily thank our many hundreds of consignors from all parts of the world who have entrusted
us with their collections, recognising our company’s ability to present their stamps and postal history in the
best way to an extensive and knowledgeable collecting public. Indeed, needless to say, that without the trust
and continued appetite of our passionate and active collector-clients, this sale would not be possible.
This Europe & Overseas catalogue highlights important sections of Austria and Austria used in Hungary, the
balance of the Otto Sellinger collection of Belgium, Balkans, Egypt, France and Colonies, Italy and Italian
States, Poland and a wonderful range of Olympic Games, all presented in over 2000 lots. Other notable
highlights are one-country collections and lots, plus general all world collections throughout.
Our clients have come to know and value our All World Collections section with many fresh lots housed
in albums and boxes. Our latest offering continues this tradition with a selection of country collections,
mixed lots and general collections originating mostly from estates. Indeed, practically all of the following
material has not been on the market for an average of over twenty years, which will, no doubt, add to its
attractiveness for potential buyers.
It is, therefore, our pleasure to welcome you to Geneva, where the viewing of both small and large lots
takes place from June 11th, and before that date by appointment. If you are planning to visit us, please
inform us of your travel plans, and do not hesitate to ask should you need some assistance in the form
of hotel reservations or other information. Frequent visitors to our auctions are quick to appreciate the
extensive network of low-cost airlines offered by the nearby Geneva International Airport and the conveni-
ent proximity of the A1 motorway, located only a few minutes away. Should you not be able to view the
lots at our offices, please consider that most of them, including numerous collections, are also completely
scanned and available for viewing via our website www.davidfeldman.com.
Please note that the Europe, Overseas and Rarity catalogues are in EUROS, while all British Empire and
Indian States are in POUNDS STERLING.
We will also hold a special viewing of all British Empire single lots and selected/requested large lots on June
4-6 at the Shapero Modern Gallery, located in Mayfair in Central London. If you have a request to view a spe-
cific lot please contact Ricky Verra at ricky@davidfeldman.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Bidding in our auctions can be made in writing via the enclosed bid form, live via the Internet in the
comfort of your home or office, by telephone, or indeed through an independent auction agent. Should
you have any questions concerning the material presented, our conditions of sale, or any other matter,
please do not hesitate to contact us – we are at your service. We wish you success with your bids and
satisfaction with your purchases.
