Identifying Different Back Pains
What are the Symptoms of Back Pain?
Most people have experienced back pain sometime
in their lives. The causes of back pain are
numerous; some are self-inflicted due to a lifetime
of bad habits. Other back pain causes include
accidents, muscle strains, and sports injuries.
Although the causes may be different, most often
they share the same symptoms.

back, especially after sitting or standing
for extended periods.

The Datta Chronicles
Dr. Datta and his professional team are recognized as a miracle to patients. Before meeting Dr. Datta,
patients have suffered terrible back pains and migraines. Most people suffer for many years with
chronic pain conditions and have had difficulty adjusting to what is their ordinary life. With his help,
these patients experience instant relief and little recovery time. #truestory
Here are a couple testimonials from Dr. Datta’s patients:
“I am so happy to have found Dr. Datta. He has not only improved my quality of life, but is also a master at the
work he does. Before finding Dr. Datta, I went through months of extensive back treatments including NSAI
medications, physical therapy, chiropractics and acupuncture. Unfortunately, I did not find any relief through any
of the procedures listed, I actually was beginning to feel worse and worse as time went on.
I am now about three weeks post surgery and can already feel a significant improvement in my back and instant
relief of leg pain. Dr. Datta performed an endoscopic lumbar discectomy with laser technology on L4-L5 L5-S1 -
which through research I found is a very rare and difficult technique to master. It is innovative and words are not
enough to explain how amazing Dr. Datta is as a person and a doctor. I know people who had micro lumbar
discectomy who not only endured severe back pain from their injury but then also had to endure post-operative
pain. Post-op was not a negative experience for me, it was like an actual miracle, I felt immediate relief from Dr.
Datta's procedure and minimal negative symptoms. All in all, I would say that he is not only a genius but one of
the most attentive, compassionate and caring doctors I've met through this experience. Although my back injury
was unfortunate, I feel that this experience was a positive one because of meeting Dr. Datta. The office and
medical staff was also excellent, compassionate and caring. I would recommend Dr. Datta to anyone- If I had to
go through all of the pain and suffering again, I'd do it again with Dr. Datta. “

"I would like to take this time to give a big thank you to Dr. Datta, his fantastic office staff and the excellent
medical staff. I met Dr. Datta about 1 year ago. Now when I say I was in some pain I mean really serious pain. I
had already had two thoracic fusions T6 to T9 with cages and instrumentation. I then received my 3rd
thoracotomy to relieve a hematoma pressing on my lung. The care I received from Dr. Datta and his staff was
excellent. I had another spinal revision procedure in Dec 2012. Then a 5th surgical spine fusion in May 2013. Dr
Datta is a Doctor whose excellent medical skills are only matched by his high level of kindness and caring. I
would also like to acknowledge the caring office staff that treats you more like a friend than a patient. The
treatments I have received at the Laser Spine and Pain Institute has been nothing short of a miracle. Dr. Datta
listens to you as a patient then provides a plan of action always delivered with the utmost care and concern. Dr.
Datta travels all over the world to teach the latest technology in advanced pain management and surgical
procedures. I consider myself a lucky man to have found Dr Sukdeb Datta and the Laser Spine and Pain
Institute."

The Datta Chronicles
Shift gears, Gemini. Until May
21, the Sun is in Taurus, your
sleepy twelfth house. For the
first three weeks of the month,
listen to your own rhythms and
daydreams. What comes up for
you now emotionally is telling;
perhaps there are wounds to
heal, or maybe you are having
mirages of your future reality.
You don’t have the extra oomph
you usually do, so forgive
yourself for not always being
the life of the party. A fun-loving
friend could become an
unexpected energy drain whose
dramatic tales and unstable
lifestyle will exhaust rather than
entertain you. Let go or heal the
past.
