● Developing a Machine Learning tool to identify and categorize anti Israel content on Social
Media platform in order to report and remove it
○ Telegram bot for auto reporting and auto check of removal rate
○ AI content creator- aggeregators of materials that helps pick relevant contant for
respond
○ Conducted research to understand the social media algorithm behave
● Help collect and save posts to build the Oct 7 archive (critical for future legal use)
● Detection of content indicating possible attacks for deeper investigation
● A team of lawyers whose goal is to find incriminating evidence for fundraising campigns for
terrorism
Dozens of projects leverage the data-sets to fight anti-semitism online,
including:
Better Together
55. Vaccine Access
● FindAShot.org was established in response to the struggle to find
vaccine appointments specifically for elderly. The project became a
vital resource during the COVID-19 pandemic, creating an automated
appointment checker that covered up to 25,000 pharmacy locations in
the United States.
● Millions were able to find appointments with ease, highlighting the
transformative role of public web data and technology collaboration in
addressing pressing public health challenges. The success of
FindAShot serves as an inspiring example of innovation and
compassion, reflecting the potential to replicate this methodology in
other countries and healthcare scenarios.

56. Saving Lives in an Earthquake Aftermath
Utilizing publicly available social media posts to save lives
● In 2023 when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern and central Turkey, including
Kahramanmaraş
● Abdulkadir, a student from the Imam University in Turkey who lived in Kahramanmaraş was using
our residential proxies in the efforts of locating posts using the hashtag #deprem
(‘earthquake’ in Turkish) photos with alt-text indicating a call for help, and posts with specific Geo-
location.
● The collected data was delivered directly to AFAD, Turkey’s disaster management and international
aid institution, and to Ahbap, an NGO, disaster aid organization and helped saving lives

81. Flood Forecasting
The initiative aims to provide flood forecasts and warnings globally, alerting
NGOs, governments and hundreds of millions of people living in high risk
areas to help keep them safe and inform disaster response efforts. This can be
accessed publicly in our FloodHub.
We focus on riverine flood forecasting, offering unprecedented forecast lead
times and spatial accuracy, so we can disseminate localized and actionable
information.

85. Wildfire Detection & Tracking
We leverage AI and satellite imagery for wildfire early detection and boundary
tracking in real-time.
We display the real time boundaries across our products and notify authorities
on early detections, so they can take action before the fire grows out of control,
damaging property, and harming health.

87. AI-powered Damage Assessments
Our post-disaster relief tool, SKAI, uses ML to analyze satellite imagery before
and after disasters.
The tool provides automated, scaled, timely damage assessments to crisis
responders, offering crucial information to guide their response.

89. Extreme Heat Insights
Our Tree Canopy & Cool Roofs insights provide city planners with data to
implement effective cooling measures and combat urban heat island effects.
These insights are found in Google’s Environmental Insights Explorer.
We are leveraging AI and high resolution aerial imagery to generate
unprecedented tree canopy and reflectivity maps to accelerate adoption and
maximize impact.
