2. MARKET WRAP
The market closed slightly red today. Sensex close down 132.11 fall 0.64% and
the Nifty close down 43.20 fall 0.71%, Technology, capital goods and auto stocks are
under heavy selling pressure. However, oil and gas are outperforming with ONGC
leading the pack. HCL Technologies India's No. 4 IT services exporter, reported
quarterly revenue that grew at a slower pace than that of its rivals, sending its shares
lower though profit beat market expectations by rising 64%, closed near 7% down today.
