2.  MARKET ANALYSIS:
 Key benchmark indices edged higher on speculation that the US Federal Reserve would maintain
monetary stimulus to help the US economy recover from the super storm Sandy.
 the BSE Sensex was up 67.75 points or 0.37% to 18,498.60.
 The S&P CNX Nifty was up 16.85 points, or 0.3% at 5,614.85, as per provisional figures.
 From the 30-share Sensex pack, 20 stocks rose while the rest of them fell.
 NHPC rose 0.47%, with the stock reversing initial losses. The company's net profit fell 18.94% to Rs
783.38 crore on 6.92% fall in total income to Rs 2013.02 crore in Q2 September 2012 over Q2
September 2011. LIC Housing Finance said that the company has recorded a healthy growth in
business during the second quarter ended September 2012. India's largest commercial vehicle maker by
sales Tata Motors rose 2.79%. The company's global sales declined 4% to 1.03 lakh units in September
2012 over September 2011.
