Oxygen Metabolism and Regenerative Medicine in Horses
Equine Teaching Hospital
2ULg – FMV – FARAH – Médecine vétérinaire comparée
The Equine Hospital is collaborating with
associated laboratories and research groups in
order to increase the knowledge of equine
diseases, as well as their treatment and
prevention. Research topics include:
•laminitis
•colic and systemic inflammatory response
syndrome
•mitochondrial function and its modification
•Oxidative stress
•Regenerative medicine
The Equine Hospital is also able to lead “clinical
Trials” to assess new therapeutic approach (Stem
Cells, NDS27)
