.Abstract of thesis:
The Research dealt with physical and chemical study of soil in
Jordan, and this study has included some parts as study of Geology and
topography of Jordan and its chemistry, thus study of physical and
chemistry archaeological excavated pottery from some selected
archaeological sites in Jordan, in addition to physic study of glass, thus
study of technology of pottery and glass in Jordan, in addition to study of
the factors of deterioration affected on pottery and glass objects, , also
effect of burial environment, climate changes and work techniques in

2. excavation sites, it also contained scientific study of the most important of
lifting the pottery and glass objects from some archaeological sites in
Jordan, it also contained studythe methods of treatment and
conservation of pottery and glass especially cleaning, consolidation and
study of examination and analyzing of pottery and glass excavated from
some archaeological sites , in addition to experimental and applied study
for treatment of pottery and glass in North- East Jordan.
 Master Degree from Jordan : Yarmouk University- Faculty of
Archaeology- Department of Archaeology in 2001 . . With grade
"very good"
The Subject of thesis is : Study of the manufacturing Technology of
Byzantine Pottery from Baddiyyah.

 Practical expertise of a research process in the Jordanian museums
for restoration and conservation, analysis and examination of the
various groups of artifacts (master's and doctoral study)
 The analytical and diagnostic part of doctoral thesis conducted
at the National Museum of Egypt and specialized centers at
universities and museums.
 The experimental part of doctoral thesis conducted at French
Institute for Eastern Archeology in Cairo.

Dar Al- Saraya Museum in Irbid.
