Main responsibilities:
1. Development and support of the applications and tools related to the
automated test environment.
• “SimTest” – the application which enables automated testing of
GUI forms and applets. UI Automation and MS Active
Accessibility are used;
• “SimTest Creator” – the user-friendly tool that helps testers
create test case scenarios. Its GUI is based on DevExpress
controls;
• design of the auto test environment workflows;
• integration of different automated test units;
• daily support.
2. Help System.
• development and support of “Help Builder” – the tool which
builds Help topic files scanning dll’s via C# reflection;
• processing Help calls from the main application;
• “Field Help Tool” – the user-friendly application for technical
writers. It accesses TFS to create / check in / edit / check out
Help snippets. It has a WCF-based architecture.
• “Import/Export Tool”. This is a WPF application used by
technical writers. It interoperates with TFS repository as well.
3. Team Foundation Server.
• accessing TFS programmatically from the applications;
• administration of TFS projects: branching, merging etc.
