This document discusses custom tag manager templates, including why templates are useful, common community tags, and a demonstration of a data layer event repeater tag template. Templates allow for robust, helpful tags and variables to be built in a sandboxed, secure environment. A prototype is shown requiring only a few lines of code and no settings to add a tag, with debugging available through the console.
