Curtis Grant: Virginia Linebacker Signs With Ohio State
Buckeyes
(AP)
Highly touted Virginia linebacker, Curtis Grant, will not be a Gator or a Cavalier next fall, instead
the Hermitage High School senior announced Wednesday afternoon that he will take his talents to
Ohio State University and become a Buckeye.
Grant, one of the top five rated high school football players in the country, received more than three
dozen scholarships during his recruiting process and told ESPNU that he felt most comfortable at
the Big 10 school, according to CBS affiliate WTVR.
Prior to making his decision, the 6-foot-3, 222-pound Grant narrowed his list of schools to the
University of Florida, the University of North Carolina, Ohio State University and the University of
Virginia.
After donning an Ohio State cap, Grant told reporters that he "feel in love" with the university and
that it felt like "home."
