2. PROFFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Worked as an Industrial/ Labor Relations Officer (but on attachment basis) at the Ministry of
Labour and Home Affairs in the Department of Labour and Social Security under Inspection
Unit for a period of 3 months. Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs has a large customer base
because it deals with lots of customers being locals and foreigners, of which I had the chance to
learn and experience different ways of interacting with customers, and so it was because I had to
apply the skills I learnt at school in action of which was not a problem to me. Under Inspection
Unit we executed a lot of tasks, no day was treated as free day, as we worked even on weekends
to help our clients those far from where we were stationed.
But in overall I managed to excel in various skills like Accounting when summing up report for
Inspections, making quarterly reports, Management Information Systems , Operations
management, finance, organizational ethics and more others. I acquired vast knowledge and
these are relevant to my course as they are all management duties.
Also worked as Assistant Procument Officer at the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture Sub in
Charles Hill for a period of 5 months, where I was carrying all the supplies duties under
government BNSP programme, ranging from preparing RFQs, evaluation and more other
Supplies Unit functions.
